Kathleen Wells has been active in business for over 40 years, starting with basic bookkeeping in the mid-1970s, going on to accounting managers in various industries including manufacturing, medical/health care, non-profit, printing. She also worked in the salaried professional division of Robert Half. Additionally she taught business applications at Three Rivers Community College in Norwich CT with topics including banking services, payroll, taxation, trade and cash discounts, markup and markdown, inventory, simple and compound interest, installment purchasing financial statements and ratios and business statistics. About Tom
Tom Bracken has been active in business for over 40 years, starting with basic bookkeeping and payroll in the mid-1970s, then serving as a Controller and ultimately Treasurer for a commercial real estate development & management firm in the 1980s. Ultimately, Tom helped take two companies from startup status to acquisition: Preferred Systems, Inc. (a software developer) in 1997 as Controller, and Sopris West (an educational publisher) in 2004 as Executive Director of Operations.
At this point in time, Tom would like to work with your business in any number of capacities: budget development and maintenance, bookkeeping services, business plans, contract analysis, and other functions of a growing, healthy business. While not a CPA, he has worked harmoniously with a number of tax professionals over the years, and always provided an effective flow of the data and backup that is needed for tax, and other, government filings.
